In July 2022, the Suhkuria Foundation successfully carried out Qurbani donations in Sawaba, Bolgatanga, Ghana, bringing joy and relief to many families during the blessed occasion of Eid al-Adha. This noble initiative was generously sponsored by Mohammed Asif, together with his family and friends in the United Kingdom, whose unwavering commitment to humanitarian service continues to inspire and uplift communities. The project focused on supporting widows, orphans, and less privileged households, ensuring that they too could partake in the blessings of Eid through the distribution of sacrificial meat. For many of these families, the donation provided much-needed nourishment and created a sense of inclusion in the celebration, reminding them that they are not forgotten. Beyond the provision of food, the Qurbani project symbolized compassion, unity, and the spirit of sharing that defines the festival. The Suhkuria Foundation is deeply grateful to Mohammed Asif and his supporters for making this initiative possible, as their generosity helped strengthen community bonds and brought smiles to countless faces in Sawaba. This project reflects the Foundation’s broader mission of promoting dignity, hope, and togetherness among vulnerable communities across Ghana and beyond.
